We follow an integrated syllabus consisting of CBSE (affiliated to be CBSE, Delhi)

The school offers classes from Pre-KG to Grade – IV for the first Academic Year 2015-16 and it will be updated progressively till class XII.

The criteria for admission is given below (Age is considered as on 31st March). Pre KG 2 .5 years to be completed Jr.KG 3 years to be completed Sr.KG 4 years to be completed Class I 5 years to be completed

Procure Application form from the school office. Fill the application form legibly. Enclose all the documents and submit the filled-in application form at the school office within 3 working days. Take up RIS Scholastic Assessment Test (Roots International School-SAT)/interaction. Admission is granted on the basis of performance in RIS- SAT/interaction. Selected students will be intimated through Phone.

The application fees may be paid in cash at the time of buying the application form.

Enclosures during submission of application forms are as follows:
• Report card/ Mark statement / Equivalence certificate
• Transfer Certificate (Original)
• Copy of Passport for NRI applicants
• Copy of Birth Certificate
• Copy of Parent’s Employment ID / Business Card
• Copy of Residential Proof

Admission is granted on 2 key factors. Firstly, the compliance to minimum age criteria and secondly, the child MUST pass the RIS Scholastic Assessment Test (RIS-SAT) for the desired class. Even if the child is eligible for a higher class by age, the result of the aptitude test would be final in deciding the class in which the child gets admitted.

Nursery, Jr.KG & Sr.KG – Interaction, Classes I onwards – English & Mathematics, Language The tests are specific to the grade level of the applicant.

Yes, siblings get preferential admission, if there is space in the grade applied for and the child meets the admission criteria.

Your child would be able to smoothly integrate at Roots International School and there will be minimal inconvenience to your child as personal care and support will be rendered to make the child extra comfortable to be on par with his/her peers.

a. Our academic year begins in April and ends in March.
b. Yes, we do have midyear admissions only in certain special cases based on the availability of vacancies in the respective class.(Like students relocating from other countries/states).

We have two Parent Teacher meetings in each quarter making it to six times in one academic year. Our teachers are also available on every Saturday except Second Saturday to meet Parents.

Parents can meet the Principal on all school working days between 2.30 PM and 3.30 PM by prior appointment. Please seek an appointment with the principal through the school reception.

We provide safe and efficient transport for the convenience of our students: Supervised Van’s Nearest pick and drop point from home, with some conditions applied.

RIS considers extracurricular activities as an essential ingredient of its curriculum. We have Skating, Mini football in our school as outdoor games. We also have art & craft, Yoga, indoor sports, music (Indian, Western and instrumental) and dance (different styles). Children practice these under the supervision of trained and qualified trainers.

All teachers are trained to deal with weak/slow learners in the classroom. In certain situations and circumstances they are given additional counseling.

We have a facility of Doctor on Call from the hospital next door in case of any emergency. Each and every class and bus is equipped with first aid kit for children.

We keep a stock of Books and uniforms in the school that is given immediately to students on confirmation of admission.

The school diary is tool of communication between the teachers and the parents. A lot of information is available in the school diary and parents are requested to check it regularly for school events, announcements, celebrations, assessments, holidays etc.
