He has 30 years of experience in educational field. He was with DAV Gopalapuram for the past 28 years as teacher and principal for 18 years. His professional and administrative experience has benefitted the teachers, parents and students through his interviews in national and state television channels as well as through leading newspapers. He was awarded Ph.D. in commerce by the University of Madras for his research on HRD practices.

He was the recipient of President Award for best teacher in 2006. He received the award from the Honorable President of India Smt. Prathiba Patil.

He was also appointed by CBSE to inspect schools for affiliation. He played the role of mentor for CBSE schools for CCE implementation up to class X.

He was also the recipient of Vocational Excellent Award in 2007 from His Excellency Shri. Surjit Singh Barnala, Governor of Tamil Nadu. He has also received the Best Principal Award from many organizations such as Lions Club, Rotary Club and other professional organizations.

D.A.V. Gopalapuram under his leadership was rated 5 times as one of the best schools in the country by leading magazines such as Outlook, Rediff.com, Education World Magazine and ‘C-fore Survey’. He was rated the best in leadership in the entire country among school principals in the year 2009 by C-fore survey and awarded a certificate and medal in recognition of his services. He holds a post graduate diploma in Yoga Studies recognized by Government of Tamil Nadu Health Ministry.

He has also authored many books on personality development for students. He is also the Director of MITRA Leadership Academy. Thousands of participants, students and professionals have been benefitted from his training programme on leadership skills. He has produced 100% results in Class X & XII Board Exams for DAV Gopalapuram with most of the students securing 90% and above in various subjects. On an average, 18-20 students have joined IIT and many students have joined National Institute of Technology (NIT) and reputed Medical Colleges.

Ms. Vineeta Rajput is a dedicated educationist. Children are the prime focus of all her effort in work. She sincerely believes that real education lies way beyond books.

She received her education at premier institutions like Central Academy School – Bhilwara & Delhi Public School, Panipet and Delhi. She did her Master’s in Degree from Punjab University. She got her teachers’ training at DWTC, Dehradun . She is also qualified in Management (HR ). Her special interests are the study of Yoga and Literature.

She has 19 years of experience in education field. During this time she worked and gained rich experience in institutions like Delhi Public School, Bareilly, M.M. International School – Ambala, Euro International school – Bangalore, Mahatma Gandhi International School – Pondicherry. She has also been a one of board member in M.M. University, Ambala .

During her student days she was an avid orator. She won many prizes in debates and dramatics including at National level. She played volleyball at the National level and Table Tennis at State level.

She has attended various workshops and training sessions conducted by CBSE, NCERT and ICSE. She has also attended the inaugural course in ‘ Management of Schools’ conducted by IIT, Delhi.

Mr.Pravesh Mehra originally from New Delhi, but has spent most of his career life in all over india . He has over 24 years of valuable experience in the field of education. While she has been a passionate and caring teacher, as an administrator He has been firmly result-oriented with a steady vision. His rich exposure to the IB, Cambridge, and CBSE curricula has empowered her with a diverse and innovative approach as an academic leader. He is a strong believer of “teaching the child and not the subject” which involves experiential learning strategies that foster critical thinking. He has held positions as the Principal in Birla Institute of Learning, Nanital, and Delhi Public School, Jind and He is working presently Army Public School, Bathinda, Pubjab. Within the very short period of his leadership of Army Public School he has very efficiently and effectively spearheaded the school during the PYP authorization process
