House System

Introduction

To kindle a conducive learning environment on par with the best institutions worldwide, Roots International School has spared no effort or investment to ensure that the best infrastructure is made available to students to enable them to pursue their education with ease and comfort.

There are four Houses in the School namely Olympian House, Spartan House, Titan House & Trojan House. Every Student on admission from Grade I onwards is placed in one these Houses.

Each House is headed by one boy and one girl know as House Captains. A member of the staff assisted by other teachers (tutors) acts as the House Master / Mistress. Points are awarded to houses throughout the year, the House gaining the highest number of points is awarded the running trophy.

Inter-House competitions are organised in Sports, Debates, Quiz, Art and Music and other Co-curricular activites.

Students have to wear applets of the respective house only.

Each Student admitted is put into one of four houses under:
Olympian- Identifying colour Yellow – Olympian is Flying on our own Wings
Spartan - Identifying Colour Red – Spartan is Leaders for the Future
Titan – Identifying Colour Blue – Titan is Achievement Through Effort
Trojan – Identifying Colour Green – Trojan is Excellence and Zeal
